Mi Mexico - Colorado Springs

My husband and I visited Mi Mexico for the first time at Cinco de Mayo. We sat right away. They were properly occupied and the employees were very polite and our servers were on everything. We were served a basket of tortilla chips and red salsa. The salsa tasted good, but it was very watery, which makes it hard to keep it on the chip. Needless to say that we dropped some on the table and my husband got some on his shorts. I ordered the Mexican pizza (bef) and my husband ordered Super Nachos ( chicken). The food was delicious and worth the money. The platelet was a bit scary as served. But the taste made it. Your Mexican cuisine tasted more authentic than some other Mexican restaurants we tried. Better than chain restaurants. My husband also ordered a house of Margarita. It was pretty cheap (under $4), but no buzzz. He said it was good. Our table and bank were clean. The restaurant itself was always taken care of how busy it was. Thanks Mi Mexico! We recommend your restaurant <3

I was looking for the best Mexican restaurant in COS, I found some ok, but the flavors were just not there. The restaurant is the best Mexican restaurant I found so far!! Also the salsa had delicious taste while we waited for our food. Can't remember the name of my friends plate, but she had shrimps and mushrooms and Carne Asada on her plate, I tried her shrimps and mushrooms and it burst with taste, just delicious. I asked for the #14, but asked for it to be a great combination instead of small. They don't play around with their portions that I would probably have been fine with just small! Husband got enchiladas divorciados, his favorite enchiladas on the plate were the green. We got the queso fundido for appetizer, was not exactly what I expected it was more fleshy than Cheesy, but we still liked it. Also thought it was strange, it didn't come with Tortillas. They make their own homemade tortillas here and they are fresh and tasty. Our waiter was friendly and fast! Definitely my parents here at the next visit!

Service of Marvin was excellent! Food was great. He has such a great work at our table, filling water, bringing drinks etc. Best experience ever!!! We often come here

Tried Mi Mexico for the first time on Cinco de Mayo! It was very busy and had a nice fun atmosphere. The menu is very large, I'll have to study it at lenght next visit. The service was good for how busy it was. The Ultimate Margarita was not good, tasted like agave water. I would order something else next time. The food was very delicious. It arrived hot and the tamale, Chile relleno and enchilada all had unique flavors. It would have been perfect with some sour cream but I didn't want to wait. I will definitely return to try some of the yummy looking dishes!

A pretty good eating experience here. If you're hungry, these plates are humiliated! Many good foods and two people could easily share on board. I'll be back.
