Simply Breakfast - Colorado Springs

We were pleasantly surprised and delighted to find ourselves seated ahead of our expected time. The staff was cheerful and made sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The diner offers an extensive menu featuring both classic dishes and local specialties. The three meals we ordered were flawless—generous portions, perfectly cooked eggs, well-prepared meat, and crisp vegetables. They also serve fresh orange juice, coffee, and soft drinks. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, making this restaurant an ideal spot after our spiritual journey in the mountains.

This is a large restaurant chain that originated in northern California. I really appreciate the atmosphere, which suits Colorado Springs very well. Our server was both friendly and efficient, and our food arrived hot and fresh. I ordered eggs Benedict with goose, while my wife opted for two eggs, two slices of bacon, and two pancakes. The pancakes were generously sized, and they incorporate a sweet cream into the batter. We would definitely come back again.

My wife and I dined here tonight and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was lovely, with beautiful decor and furnishings. The service was also great. We ordered the chicken pot pie and the pot roast, both of which were delicious! The only downside was the carrots; they were cut far too thick and were so hard that we couldn’t eat them. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a picture. Overall, it was a nice visit.

We always enjoy coming to the Black Bear Diner. We were greeted with a smile and sat immediately. Our waitress, Savannah was awesome. Even though they were 86 on some of the items she did whatever she could do to make our dinner enjoyable. Got to love those muffins totally awesome.

From her breakfast. My whole family got the pancakes and they were literally the best I ever had. Next year, when we come back, we'll be over again for them! And the waiter was super nice and helpful too. Super satisfied with our experience!
