Skirted Heifer - Colorado Springs

Never again! What on earth is a 2.99% inflation fee added on top of the regular sales tax? That’s just ridiculous. The tables were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned after the last diners, even though it wasn’t busy. The french fries looked gray — just gross.

The burger was excellent, especially when topped with a skirt! The fries were plentiful and delicious, and there were great drink options available. We finished off the meal with a tasty Oreo ice cream sandwich! If you're in Colorado Springs, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I also ordered the Garlic burger bun, which I regretted. I expected a regular burger bun, but it turned out to be something quite different. That was my oversight; I should have asked for clarification. The staff were friendly and clearly well trained, as they handled everything efficiently. I did notice that the Skirted Heifer burger is a massive portion. I didn't try it since I'm not a big cheese fan, but it was enormous! Lastly, the views of the mountains from the restaurant were fantastic.

We ate at the location on Tejon. It was so good we ate lunch there four times. Burgers were great and the sweet potato fries were great. Good luck getting a seat. Next time in Colorado springs downtown we will eat lunch here. I am reviewing here because I could not find the location where we ate on this site.

I went for the skirted turkey burger ? and it was pretty good. (I like a little more seasoning on the meat. But the view in Colorado Springs is breathtaking.
