Taco Express - Colorado Springs

I really love their breakfast burritos! They stay open later, which is great for night owls. If you arrive between 11 and 11:15, you’ll still have time to order since they close at midnight.

The authentic Mexican food here is fantastic. I especially love the horchata!

Pros: The portions are generous, the quality of the chicken is outstanding, there’s never a wait, it’s a great addition to a shopping complex that could use some revitalization, and the service is friendly. Cons: The drive-thru speaker doesn’t work very well, and the outdoor menu doesn’t list any drink options (but they do have drinks available).

I love this place. Crave the carne asada burrito. Only reason for four stars is, I order it without salsa (Hass onions) and half the time they open. Bummer goes to Kansas City and looks forward to my Burrito and onions. It can't wait to go back. Remember the Mexican food in Southern California.

It was our first time trying this place. The people were very kind and the food was great! Red and Green salsas were amazing. We got the kids quesadilla that came with fries, Chile relleno plate came with tortillas and also a torta. We enjoyed everything. Will definitely be back to try other items.
