The Egg I - Colorado Springs

I visited Jacksonville, Florida, and stopped for breakfast on June 3, 2018, after seeing the restaurant's sign. I ordered the berry bliss pancakes, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my food looked exactly like the picture on the menu—so impressive! While the pancakes could have been a bit more moist, the fresh strawberries and blueberries on top made up for it. The turkey sausage and the accompanying side were also very tasty. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. There was a young lady at the cash register, whose name I didn’t catch, but she was short and had black hair. We were 45 cents short, and she went into her own handbag to cover us—what a thoughtful gesture! We could have gone to the car to get the change, but her actions truly exemplified excellent customer service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I ordered a strawberry banana waffle paired with over-medium eggs and two sausages. The food was fantastic; I hadn't enjoyed such a good meal in a while. I highly recommend the eggs due to the excellent food quality, great service, and the clean, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Egg I! We’ll definitely be returning. Don’t miss their new Kale Cooler Juice—it's a refreshing and vibrant way to kick off your morning!

This place was bustling on a lovely Saturday morning. The staff did a great job managing the limited waiting area at the front door. The breakfast dishes were simply delightful! All the portions were generous and cooked to perfection. It is a bit pricey, though; two breakfasts with drinks could cost around $25. However, it's definitely worth it. If you were to get the same at Waffle House, it might only be about $10, but the quality and portion sizes here are far superior.

My husband and I were here almost once a week for breakfast and it was always a good time. Your service is great, and the food is amazing. We love her hazelnut coffee, and my husband's favorite dish is the egg Benedict. Karen is an amazing server, I bet even after a year or so it would know our names:

Great service, Lindsey our server was so pleasant Patrick the manager is such a nice person. We enjoy the wide range of selections, only wish they had hash browns. Our food was special order...and cooked perfect to our liking. I love the coffee To Go!
