I can't believe I hadn't been here before. I enjoyed every dish I tried. The service was quick and attentive. I recommend trying the dishes served in banana leaves, as well as khube suke and kurlyo xavuti. And make sure to save room for dessert with a serradura. My advice: come hungry if you're thinking of dining here.
Our group of 10 friends had a wonderful lunch at Spice Goa. The owner, Mr. Shah, graciously seated us in a private area and suggested dishes that we all thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant specializes in authentic Goan Hindu seafood cuisine. For the vegetarians in our group, Mr. Shah brought out creative dishes seasoned with spices typically used for seafood. We left feeling satisfied but not overly full, and are looking forward to visiting again.
I have visited goa many paintings, but on this trip our friend has brought us to spice goa, mapusa and we have the most beautiful garnel, fish, lobster, garnelen in bananenblatt, crumbs in xacuti gravur. a must visit if in goa. I would have 7 stars. seradura is a last dessert
We decided to try out the fish thali which is supposed to be the specialty of the restaurant and we were not disappointed. In terms of taste, the dishes on the thali were all superb, however, the quantity of rice was small. The prawn curry...was delicious and the piece of fried 'tamso was also delightful. The service was efficient and polite.
