I brisket BBQ sauce is great, and the others are also pretty good. For my side, I had the taters who were pretty good. I am happy to go back and try her other meat and her other sides. Do not neglect their peculiarities of the day. I recently tried her Cuban, and it was probably the best I ever had. Huge portion, tons of meat, and the pimples were delicious. As a personal preference, I would probably light the must in the future.
If you are looking for BBQ, this is your place, good prices, big brisket and pulled pig, the ribs have not yet tried, but they look good. I now have their green beans, baked beans and Coleslaw and I would recommend the beans to everyone. Baked beans had pieces of pulled pork and the green beans had potatoes, just great. One thing I noticed, roasted foods are not their specialty, so ready to wait, I have said that their fries are good, but it takes some time to get them. My whole family loves their specialties of pulled pork, brisket, baked beans and green beans when you get that it comes fast and great. Had their Cajun food today, gumbo, Alligator, and raw fish was great, but they only have this on special occasions if you are lucky to be there to get it, you can not beat it.
I had my heart set on brisket, but they were out of it by noon, so I opted for the pulled pork instead. It turned out to be excellent—perfectly smoked, moist, and full of flavor. A bit of the original sauce added a nice touch, though it wasn't really necessary. The sides were a bit unconventional; the portion labeled as "small" is anything but small. The mac and cheese had a seasoning that reminded me of Old Bay, which isn’t my preference (think of lobster mac and cheese without the lobster). The BBQ beans were tasty but came out nearly boiling, so be cautious if you order them. Overall, it’s a solid spot tucked away off Highway 30. Prices are reasonable for BBQ—about $8 for a pulled pork sandwich, a side, and a drink. Surprisingly, it wasn't busy at all during lunch on a Thursday. I’ll definitely return the next time I'm in the area!
Wow, the smoked bologna sandwich with slaw, pickles, and onions was absolutely amazing! I also tried the mac and cheese brisket burrito, and while I didn’t notice it at first, the brisket inside looked a bit unappealing. Overall, a fantastic experience!
The sampler was excellent! The brisket was delicious, the ribs were substantial, the macaroni was fantastic, and the potatoes were tasty!
