Vaqueros - Columbia Falls

Excellent food and drinks, amazing staff! The chips and salsa are fantastic and I'm kind of a salsa snob. The chimichanga was delicious! Will be returning in future stays in Montana!

Love coming into this spot! It's the go to place for myself. The bartenders are friendly and professional. It's a nice comfortable atmosphere.

I love visiting Columbia Falls. I grew up in Whitefish and love revisiting this area, and when I do Vaqueros is one of my favorites.I love the consistency of the food quality.The staff are always friendly.

Today we discovered after opening the menu that Vaqueros is owned by the same people as Casa Mexico in Kalispell. Which was disappointing because we drove out of our way for a differant Mexican restaurant since we have been unhappy with Casa Mexico the last few times we have eaten there we live in Kalispell). Our experience here was better on service for our meal but the food was still below average. But our biggest disappointed was after lunch because we chose to have a desert cocktail in the bar. Having already looked at the menu while having lunch we ordered the Mudslide. To start the bartender had no idea how to make it or the ingredients it was on their menu) and was sharing that with everyone sitting at the bar; we were seated at a table. While watching her struggle we should have just said never-mind and left but our bad! On a scale of 1-10 it didn't register at all but the kicker was she proceeded to make all 7 people seated at the bar a mini version from the remainder or the contents while charging us $28.00 for the ones she served us. The drink was watery from all the ice in the blender, flavor lacking and the ice cream she added was a flat clump thrown on top that she had to use wax paper for to scoop, no spoon provided so we had to try and use the straw to break up the ice cream. So we drove 34 miles round trip and paid sales tax to be just as disappointed at we are at Casa Mexico! The End:

Rebecca was an awesome server and the food was phenomenal! It was so packed in here, yet the food came out so quickly! P.s. the blended raspberry margaritas was off the chain!
