Groucho's Deli - Columbia

Staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was excellent.

Food was solid but service was disappointing as we were forced to get taken out since they were closing dining room early.

Came in with a blind friend. He had his service dog in it's harness and you could clearly tell the German shepherd was a service dog and my friend was blind..only for one of the workers to walk up to him and question him and ask for proof about his service animal. That was so freaking rude of him. Then come to find out he's the manager by the name of Reddin......he needs more training and compassion for the public.

I'm a fan of Groucho's sandwiches and their famous 45 sauce, but the Harden St location really disappointed me today. I was craving their hot sub and sauce, and expected it to be as good as their West Columbia location. I was very disappointed. The outside of the bread was hard as a rock and the inside was soggy. The 45 sauce wasn't as good and the sandwich wasn't warm like I'm used to experiencing. I'll sticking to the WECO location for future cravings. MANAGEMENT ACTION: Before nightfall, I received follow-up from management apologizing for my experience and offering to refund or re-do my order. I'm very impressed with Groucho's promptness in addressing these types of reviews and will continue to support all of their deli locations. Thank you!
