Menkoi Ramen House Gervais

A great ramen spot in Downtown. The broth was rich and full of flavor, and they served a generous portion of noodles. However, I felt they could have included a bit more pork, and I wasn't particularly fond of the pork itself. That said, the prices were reasonable, and the service was prompt.

The Tonkotsu ramen, gyoza, and onigiri were absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed the miso as well. I'm typically not a fan of really runny egg yolks, but the egg in the Tonkotsu was cooked just to my preference. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

The food was exceptional! I've been traveling for a month and sampling various cuisines along the way. We decided to stop in Columbia for a night, and because of this restaurant, I feel I made the right choice to extend my stay for another day. Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Togo order of ramen and pan fried dumplings. Excellent broth, chewy noodles and loved there eggs and fish cakes. Ate their again my second night in town. Dumplings were excellent too. Fast service and great location.

Consistently delicious ramen every time, and at reasonable prices? Yeah this is the spot. Also, you should try their Japanese curry and the inari (it's like sweet seasoned tofu that's stretched over rice; such a good appetizer)! Ramen is their main deal, but the other menu items are pretty good too. A must-have on your list of a local restaurant to try.
