The Blue Note - Columbia

First time at this venue seems to be well run. Saw Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls here.Only real comment is that the on stage monitors were so loud that it was very difficult to hear the vocals for the 2 opening acts. The headline show was better since they use in ear monitors.

Staff isn't very engaging at the bar and drink prices are outrageous. 14 for a well gin and tonic no thank you. The place itself is a fun music venus to go to. Just wish thy would bring in the talent thy used to bring in. It used to be a who's who now its a who's that.

Went to see Tab Benoit who was great, but the band that opened for him was really good but painfully loud. (The decimal meter was over the safe limit most of the time) and there were lots of people out in the lobby because it was too loud. Even though I listen to heavy metal bands and had high end ear plugs, it was still painful. Paid for a table and they let people stand around us all night hanging over the chairs which made it really crowded. All the people who worked there were nice and friendly. The venue was nice.

This is a great venue!! My husband has a hard time walking and the staff was super friendly and so accommodating!!! They set up a special table and chairs so we could enjoy the Tab Benoit performance. We definitely will visit again.

This place was awesome!! I asked for water and not only was I given it for free, the bartender joked around with me and was awesome!! We were here for a comedy show I couldn't have asked for a better venue with better vibes. The tables were comfortable, laughs were loud, lighting was great and sound was phenomenal.
