Good food and plenty of options on buffet ; ambience is pretty neat and staff was very polite; they do have $3.99 Biriyani wish they bring back again :
I love this place! I live walking distance away and I come here 2-3 times a week, often with my wife. They have some of the best Indian food I've had in Columbus. The food is consistently great and the service excellent. Of all the Indian food choices in the Polaris area, and there are many this gets my strongest recommendation. The weekday buffet is also only $7.99 a steal for any lunch and especially one of this caliber.
The food is all very fresh and as high a quality (as well as minimally processed) as they can find; they owner takes pride in the fact that his kitchen has no canned food. With such quality and care put into the food, it is no wonder that it is both authentic and delicious. Best of all: it is also affordable, especially the weekday buffets! The weekend buffets have more variety, ergo the added cost, but they are still moderately priced.
Went for the buffet. The food was tastier and a little spicier than other Indian buffets I've been to. I'm sure ordering off the menu the food would be better still. The mango lassi was good. It had a pleasant and unexpected fizz to it, like they made it with keifer. When I saw they had gulab jamun on the buffet I was excited, and when I tried some the flavor was good but they were very hard and stale, like they'd been on the buffet for a few days.
