I ordered 5 or 6 times in a row that were all disappointed, so I finally gave up and stopped the order. I have put an order today with a restaurant I have never heard of, phuket, I am vegan to celebrate a special occasion. I was very excited because I was not able to find satisfactory Thai food since basil went down. my partner and I left a C note in the delivery for four participants and one appetizer, and it was basil with different branding! and it's even worse than the last time I had it. everything was pale and greasy, surface inedible. the rice had a bad, funky smell. the sweet seemed old. the only thing that was decent from far away was the pad see ew. it was bad enough that they went to [forged], but then to confront me about it? I'm mad.
Delicious food! beautiful location, many options for vegan and vegetarian clearly identified.
This had to be my worst OpenTable experience. Let's start with service. The waitress came to the table no fewer than four times to make sure she had the order correct. I ordered Lad Na and hot Jasmine tea. My waitress forgot to bring the honey and didn't remember to bring it to the table until eight minutes after she dropped off the drinks. Entrees took 20 minutes even though there were maybe six tables seated in the entire restaurant. The food was awful. My tea was either improperly or the diffuser was defective. The bottom of my tea cup was completely black from the amount of loose tea leaves. The aforementioned honey came in a plastic bear bottle that was extremely sticky to the touch, hadn't been cleaned and the honey inside was mostly crystallized it couldn't be poured requiring a portion be cut off using the serving spoon included with my silverware, which was as large as the tea cup. I had requested my Lad Na be served spicy it wasn't. The chicken was tender. However, the noodles were bland, overly thick and stuck together. The vegetables were unevenly cooked. The American broccoli was undercooked and crunchy to the bite while the Asian broccoli was overcooked and wilted. Everything was slathered in an abundance of flavorless, brown, gelatinous gravy. The ambience was fine for a rustic brew pub serving beer and burgers. There was nothing reminiscent of Thailand. The restaurant was picked based on location for a business lunch. I now know why there were so few patrons during lunch. I couldn't pay the bill and leave fast enough.
Waited 40 minutes at the arrival for wein and then the waitress brought out the wrong bottle. she was the only waitress in this night and went around in training clothes. when we disappointed the lack of service expressed, she did not offer any solutions and reported that there was no manager to discuss the discussion of will not return there.
Service was bad, eating seemed dry and reheated, entering not really marked, so originally we were not sure when we were at the right place. the waitress seemed irritating and corrected us.
