Buckeye Donuts - Columbus

You won't find a better donut in this city—it's simply impossible! The woman who works the late shifts makes it all the more worthwhile to stop by. I can’t praise her product enough; it truly surpasses all others. They’re still warm, and oh my goodness, they are incredibly delicious! I absolutely love it!!

During my recent visit, I was informed that the donuts I wanted wouldn't be ready for at least two hours. The woman at the counter told me, "Give me your phone number, and I'll call you when your order is ready." She recognized that I was from Akron, but treated me like a regular customer, and she didn’t even ask for payment upfront—I offered to pay. About two hours later, she called to let me know my order was ready. I mentioned that I was on the opposite side of Columbus, and she assured me that my order would be waiting when I arrived. Approximately an hour and a half later, I made it there, and sure enough, my order was boxed up and ready to go. I highly recommend that the next time you visit Columbus, Ohio, you stop by Buckeye Donuts. Try a few while you’re there, and take some home with you. You definitely won't be disappointed!

The donuts here are consistently amazing, and I really appreciate that it's open 24 hours! The apple fritter is the best I've ever tasted. The glazed cinnamon buns, peanut donuts, and sugar-raised varieties are all delicious as well. The coffee is quite good too, and we always receive friendly service.

I've been eating but I don't since I was a kid and it hasn't changed much now that I'm adult. if you want to support a local bakery give buckeye donuts a try. Don't get me wrong I still like Krispin creams now and again but I love some buckeye donuts.

So good, was nice to see a place open 24hours and we were leaving around 6am in the morning and wanted something sweet. Will be back next time I am up in Ohio!
