Based on my experience with the pizza, I was excited to try the bistro menu, but it didn't meet my expectations. The prices were too high for the quality of the food served.
I've always enjoyed dining here, and the food has been great. On Saturday, I decided to stop by and ordered a 10" veggie pizza. I swapped out olives, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts for jalapeños, bell peppers, and spinach, as I’m not a fan of those vegetables. However, when I received my bill, I noticed an extra charge. When I inquired about it, my server explained it was because of the vegetable substitutions. This puzzled me since the three vegetables I chose to replace were all standard ones, not premium or specialty items. I understand being charged for fresh basil, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, or meats, but I've never been charged extra at other pizzerias when swapping one vegetable for another. I wish I had known there would be an additional fee for making these substitutions.
I'm currently out of town, and all I have back home is a large chain pizza place. I really wish we had a restaurant like this one. The food is top-notch, the service is friendly and quick, and all at a great price. Winning the best pizza award seven times in a row speaks volumes! You should definitely try their pizza and perfectly cooked buffalo wings as soon as possible!
