Local Cantina Gahanna - Columbus

While visiting for a large softball tournament, a friend suggested we check out Local Cantina. We had a group of over 20 on a Thursday evening, and they did a fantastic job. The service was remarkable, and the food was even better. Both the kids and parents were really happy, and our waitress, who also managed the bar, was outstanding. Thank you to everyone who worked on the evening of July 28th—you all are amazing!

Due to the staff shortage, I felt pressured to make my menu selections quickly. However, our server was friendly, nice, and professional. Despite their pleasant demeanor, I still felt rushed throughout the experience. The self-serve chips and salsa felt outdated, especially with the variety available at all-you-can-eat salad bars. On a positive note, our food was delicious—the tacos for $2 Tuesday were the best I've had so far. The drinks were also good and strong. I will likely return.

The tacos are fantastic, and the atmosphere is inviting. While the portion sizes may feel a bit pricey, the quality makes up for it. They offer unlimited chips and salsa, which is quite good, and the queso is excellent. My kids really enjoy dining here, especially the candy scoop machine and the tacoclaw machine. Overall, it's a solid choice.

So good we went twice in a week. Great staff allowed us to hang out waiting for a delayed flight. Liked the food so we took our family there before they flew out again. Traditional and creative offerings. I highly recommend the brisket soft/crunchytaco. Flavor and texture combination is amazing. Self serve chips and salsa are easily available. If you find yourself in thequaint town of Gahanna or the Columbus Airport this is a great place. Just minutes from the airport.

I had an excellent experience with the service and drinks, which were perfect after a long day of sports. I'm looking forward to coming back again!
