New Atlas - Columbus

The Brunswick Bar, with its charming two-wall front and set-back entrance, is one of the most stunning bars I have ever encountered. It is beautifully preserved, featuring all of its original woodwork, although one Mercury mirror has been replaced. At 103 years old, this bar oozes character. If you find yourself in Columbus, Montana, it’s definitely worth a visit—a truly cool place!

Did you know this is the first bar in Montana to receive a license? It's located in what used to be the town hall. The bar is decorated with a variety of taxidermy, adding a unique touch to the atmosphere.

The bar has a lovely atmosphere. While there aren't many tables, the spacious bar provides plenty of seating. The decor, featuring taxidermy, is quite striking. I don't quite understand the hype around the pizza; it left a lot to be desired. However, I would definitely come back for drinks. The staff and patrons are friendly!

It might have been better under other circumstances, but seeing family was unpaid
