I had a great experience with the flavor of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I visited for lunch just after 11 AM, and my coworker and I were the only customers in the restaurant at that time. However, it took nearly 20 minutes for our meals to be prepared, which is not ideal for a lunch break. This waiting time seems excessive considering the type of food they offer. While there are options for extra protein, I found the pricing to be unreasonably high for the portion sizes. My double chicken portion was what I would typically expect for a regular serving. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant unless you have plenty of time to spare and are okay with spending more money for less than what you expect.
The Asian Apple Citrus Salad is my favorite dish at Noodles Company. It features a unique and delicious combination of ingredients, and thankfully, there's no cilantro. It's substantial enough to be shared for two meals, and it comes with two small cups of dressing. I also tried the smaller portion of the Japanese Pan Noodles with Marinated Steak, which was very tasty. I appreciate that the menu allows me to opt out of cilantro. The dish had just the right amount of saltiness, not too overwhelming. The small portion is perfect for seniors or older kids. I tend to order smaller meals first to see if I enjoy them, and if I do, I usually go for the larger size next time.
I didn't receive any pieces of chicken in the "Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad," and the small soup was completely brothless.
The pasta was good, but it wasn't penne, and they forgot the mushrooms.
