Philco Diner - Columbus

I went twice a weekend! On Saturday to brunch with friends and could not stop thinking about their caramelized Brussels spouts, so my husband and I ate here Sunday. The service was relaxed in a pleasant way and the menu had fresh takes on comfort food while it remained approximate. Food comes fast, but the room is not very large, so go with small groups or off times is recommended to avoid waiting. Cleanest diner I 've ever in and the $5 mimosas on Saturday Sunday are the perfect morning special.

Delicious and entertaining! I’ve only been back in Columbus for a few months, and while looking through my photos from my last visit, I came across pictures from my last brunch. I can’t wait to return... it was incredible!

Philco has a good selection of alcohol and good food. The first time I went I got the Roasted Turkey sandwhich to go and it was satisfactory. The interior is bright and welcoming. My waitress was friendly and incredibly helpful as well. If you find yourself in the Short North, Philco is a must visit.

A quality modern diner with great service. Went for lunch while in town with a picky group of eaters and there was something for everyone. The vegetarian in our group ended up changing almost every aspect of her dish except the main ingredient. The staff accommodated without hesitation. Friendly and the small space made it easy to get attention. Good flavors on everything, but nothing out of the expected menu for this type restaurant.

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday around noon. After about a 10 min wait we sat at the counter. Cheese curds and cornbread were good. I expected the roasted turkey sandwich to be pulled turkey rather than lunch meat but oh well. I also prefer fountain Coke to bottled Mexican Coke. The root beer float was tasty as well.
