The Bottle Shop - Columbus

This place is fantastic for delightful cocktails that transport you to a whimsical world, almost like you're a fairy perched on a toadstool or something equally enchanting. They also have a great selection of draft beers. The drink prices encourage my partner and me to limit ourselves to just one visit, which is probably a good thing. Be sure to bring your forest creature friends along!

As a loyal customer, I had hoped that The Bottle Shop would continue to innovate and surprise me with exciting beverage options. Unfortunately, the new drink menu did not pique my interest or make a strong impression. It felt like a missed chance to reinforce the restaurant as a destination for me. Although the atmosphere remains commendable, the disappointing changes to the drink menu have certainly lessened my overall experience. I sincerely hope the management reconsiders this decision and brings back the creativity and quality that once distinguished them. Until then, my enthusiasm for returning has waned, and I can't wholeheartedly recommend it to others looking for an extraordinary experience.

Can The Bottle Shop still be called a "cocktail bar"? It seems they have decided to rebrand themselves as a wine bar, and as a regular patron, I can't help but feel disappointed. They've shifted away from the distinctive craft cocktail experience I once enjoyed and opted for a more mainstream approach. The new menu offers very few "craft cocktails," and now includes items like "slushees." When I inquired about the traditional cocktail menu, the staff mentioned a decision was made to focus more on wine selections to diversify their offerings. However, I don't think the menu feels balanced at all, and I miss the days when I could look forward to a truly unique cocktail experience. If you're seeking a smoked, handcrafted, specialty-infused cocktail—or any cocktail that showcases a talented mixologist—this is not the place for you. Perhaps they'll reconsider this new direction in the future?

Absolutely love this place. I used to live in Chicago where I was spoiled by great cocktail bars and this is the first one I've been to in Columbus that really feels unique. The cocktail selection is great and unique while also being approachable. There's both an inside and an outside which is perfect for spring/summer/fall. The outside has a large amount of seating and is very laid back while the inside is more intimate. Great for dates, hanging out with friends, reading a book alone, or really any scenario.

Love this location! There's a food truck if you need it and plenty of booze. Street parking can be a pain but whatever. Couple good restaurants next door too if you want a fuller dinner first. Great atmosphere and staff!
