Don Jose Tortilla Grill - Comanche

We were at Don Jose last night. When we went to order we looked at the menu and chose what we wanted to eat. After ordering and paying for our meal I thought the price sounded higher than what I thought it should. I got my receipt and while looking it over some of the items were price more than what the menu said I ask the waitress to come to our table. I explained to her that my ticket prices did not compare with the menu prices and she said the prices went up. I tried to explain to her that if the prices go up then you have to change the prices on the menu. She really didn't care. The difference was only two or three dollars which isn't much but it is the principal. You can't advertise one price and then sell something for a different price. I am done with Don Jose. Buyer be warned.

It's not Pedro's or Poko Loco's of Clinton but the salsa was good!

Was excited to see Comanche had a new restaurant, that excitement quickly turned to disappointment, ordered chips and queso the lid was not even on the container. Not that it mattered the queso was so old and thick hardly any of it spilled out. Went ahead and tried to eat it, until I came to a large chunk of black burnt cheese in the cup.

I have always been greeted by friendly staff and the food is good. I especially love those ribs!!
