One in our party had the AYCE BBQ Ribs, he loved the sauce abs the meat was very tender. I had the hot open faced turkey. It was nothing to write home about, but very good. Loved that the mashed potatoes still had the skins on. Overall, we'll be back!
Went on a Monday evening and they were not very busy. Ordered a chef salad and it was Huge. Maybe a little to much. Husband ordered a special, polish sausage and kraut. Came with soup or salad. Meals were quick to be brought out and hot. As other orders came out and waitress carried them past us saw the same large amounts of food. Reasonably priced, large amounts and tasty. Great deal for a small restaurant. Give it a try. Sunday s are going to be busy for breakfast.
Rico's atmosphere reminds me of a small, family-owned Denny's. Not the most appealing but the service is always friendly the food is always good! Very affordable for big portions. The pancakes are one of our favorites. I have to say we like their breakfast choices the most out of their entire HUGE menu. Great place to take younger kids. Everyone in the family will be able to find something they like.
Awesome food at a really friendly price and the staff is friendly and great. I will always take advantage of grabbing a bite to eat here. I love the breakfast here. A lot of food at a reasonable price and a ton of different choices menu wise. Do yourselves a favour and stop in and enjoy the great food and friendly service.
I was In this restaurant yesterday for the first time with a couple of my friends around 2pm. We read the reviews and gave this location a shot, regardless of the bad reviews that this location just recently received on Google reviews. Sundays are all you can eat ribs, which was appealing for some of the people in the restaurant. A guy at the booth close to us asked for some more ribs and was told they would be coming. They waited probably close to a half hour with the waitress coming by once and the guy reminding her about the Ribs. He then went up to the counter to let her know that he was still waiting on the ribs. She then stated that she told the kitchen staff twice, never once apologized, or offer to fix the problem. This customer then said, I was waiting for 25 minutes and you could have told me they were behind in the kitchen. This woman, who has light brown hair, early to mid 20 's, and is a shorter woman, then said to the customer, I just do not care anymore. She yelled this to the customer and I felt bad for the customer and his family that was sitting uncomfortably in the booth. This customer then asked for a manager and she said they do not have one on Sundays. The whole restaurant heard this whole conversation. I tried calling this location twice to speak to a manager and apparently they do not have one on-site I was told. I then asked to speak to Rico and the staff did not know how I could reach Rico. It is sad to see a family owned restaurant have this kind of staff. We will not be returning, and something tells me this family in the complaint will not return either. If I want to be treated with disrespect I will remember to come back to this location. I haven 't tried any of Rico 's other locations, but I do not want to if this kind of behavior is allowed.
