This restaurant is exactly what I was looking for in Chinese cuisine. The food is well-prepared and presented beautifully. The portions are impressive—it's great to know that you can enjoy such high-quality food in generous amounts. I would mention that the dishes have a slightly American twist when it comes to the spices, but it still satisfies. There’s no beer or wine available, but you can choose to sit at a table or dine outside. However, the sushi bar is really good! I definitely plan to return many times.

ANNEX does not use delivery services like Grubhub or Uber, which means you won’t have to pay any extra delivery fees. The atmosphere is nostalgic and reminiscent of training films from the past. The shrimp and lobster sauce is just right – it’s packed with ice and ground pork, with no peas or carrots in sight, making it a rare find among local takeout spots. The egg rolls are generously filled and deliciously meaty. The fried rice is moist and has a hearty portion of pork as well. The fried dumplings are flavorful, and the dipping sauce isn’t overly vinegary. This is truly a fantastic example of traditional Long Island Chinese food, just like I remember from the 80s. I can’t wait to try more dishes!
