Dat's Italian! In Colorado Spr

We came last year as tourists, the place was packed, we came last night it was empty. Food wasn’t as good this time around. The men’s bathroom had mud all over it, the women’s bathrooms had no soap. 4 people, meal, salad =120$. I don’t think it was worth it, we won’t be coming back. It appears the place has gone down hill.

Me, my dayghter and son inlaw had dinner there a couple weeks ago It was fantastic I had rhe sausage carbonara. It was great Tonight I made my own and sadly it didn't compare.

The food was soooo good and the space was super cute. Conveniently there’s parking right behind this spot!!

My mouth is watering just typing this. We started with the fried mozzarella. This is the first time having disc shaped mozzarella “sticks” and they were little clouds of deliciousness! The server introduced herself and I was so pleased and intrigued to hear that it’s been a family business and her and her sister run it. I love it’s local! My husband had the spaghetti pie and I had a garlic butter clam pasta dish, I forgot the name. It was all amazing!!! Will go back!

First off.... NO BREAD??? ...smh.... Really should have been a one-star review but the server was nice. After reading these reviews I'm perplexed after my visit. I think these people that have gave this restaurant 4 and 5 stars have never been to an Italian restaurant before. It's sad really. I got the eggplant Parmesan which claimed to be the best.... It was less than average. Hardly any sauce and a little bit of cheese. No offer of fresh grated Parmesan either.... I've had a better Italian meal for a better price at one of the Italian chain restaurants my cousin calls McItalian. (As in McDonald's, but Italian version.. he thinks he's a comedian) I bought two Groupons because I planned on going back because I wanted to try the lasagna, but after my first visit I got my second Groupon refunded. Did take 30 minutes to get my meal, but the waiter did warn me that the wait time would be longer because they only had one cook and he was pulling mozzarella at the moment. I don't think I would have had minded had I gotten some bread and the meal was decent but neither happened.
