Don Guillo Puerto Rican Native Cuisine

Having grown up on the island of Puerto Rico it was fantastic to find a place that has authentic culture food.The atmosphere is accurate to somewhere you would find on the island.The empanadas are delicious. The pernil is to die for.Be mindful that a lot of the food takes a while to prepare. If you go with a big party you will be waiting a little bit. So offset it with some appetizers.

I lived in Puerto Rico for several years, and this place is deliciously authentic. I've had the Fried Pork, tostones, mofongo, and empanadas and it was ALL amazing. Great prices despite hefty servings. Will 1000% be coming back and telling friends.

The food is always great, the service is always welcoming and nice and the atmosphere is like a little piece of the island in Colorado Springs. Always enjoy my time at Don Guillo??

Everyone here was so nice! I really appreciate that they took the time to explain the dishes to me as I am not familiar with Puerto Rican food at all. They didn’t rush through explaining anything or seem annoyed with my questions even though the lunch crowd was starting to pick up. Also, the food was great! I can’t wait to come back to try the other dishes!

Very friendly Staff, first time eating here. 10/10. I had the fried chicken and bean rice and something with shrimp. SO SO GOOD!
