As I stumbled into this den of debauchery, an odd assortment of European decending patrons greeted me college kids in various states of inebriation, families seeking a masquerade of culture, and the young military men, lost souls seeking solace in questionable cuisine. The menu boasted a selection of what can only be described as white people Mexican food a cultural mirage bastardized for the uninitiated masses. Tacos filled with flavorless fried white fish, quesadillas stuffed to bursting with bland fillings, all served on plastic like plates with a side of misguided enthusiasm. The hottest sauce available would have been the mild in Mexico. But let us not forget the libations that flowed freely, predominantly premixed concoctions of dubious origin. The air thick with the scent of tequila and regret, I observed as the patrons imbibed with reckless abandon, seeking a fleeting escape from the mundane realities of their lives. And then, a moment that will forever be seared into my memory a young man, teetering on the edge of coherence, succumbed to the overpowering spirits and regurgitated his sins into the urinal. But instead of retreating in shame, he boldly attempted to rectify his transgressions with his bare hands, a futile and revolting display of desperation. In that moment, amidst the cacophony of drunken laughter and misplaced revelry, I saw a reflection of the disarray that permeated Fuzzy's Taco. It was a microcosm of chaos and confusion, a surreal landscape where authenticity was sacrificed at the altar of convenience and ignorance. As I made my hasty exit, the image of that young man haunted me a poignant reminder of the grotesque spectacle that unfolded before me. Fuzzy's Taco may thrive in its mediocrity, but it will never escape the judgment of those who dare to see beyond the facades of faux authenticity and misplaced revelry.
This place has seriously gone downhill in the past year. From the pitiful service as the waitstaff thinks they are doing you a favor doing their jobs to the cold and sloppy food preparation. I would recommend you try another place for Mexican food as there are plenty others in the area much better than this place.
All those that think you should wait for tacos at Fuzzy's for 35 minutes after you have ordered, please raise your hands? Anyone? No one? Strange, because that is what Fuzzy's thought was acceptable last night on a night where they didn't look that busy. We had to wait 15 minutes to order with only five people in front of us, then waited another 35 minutes for our food to arrive. Plus there are so many places with better tacos than Fuzzy's. Just overall a really disappointing experience.
We go to Fuzzy's all the time but not this location (thankfully). It took over 40 minutes for our food to be ready and all we got were 12 OG tacos, no sides or appetizers. On top of the slow kitchen, on 6 of the tacos I requested no feta and no shredded cheese and this is the first location where after 40 minutes, my tacos came out with cheese. Not thrilled about my experience at this location.
Trish is so great! She’s so pleasant and seems so genuine!
