The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It's the perfect weekend getaway spot, with numerous restaurant and food options in and around the lodge.
We took our kids here in May 2023 to have some family time before my husband surgery. He has cancer so we wanted to make sure we had as much fun as possible before the surgery and cancer treatment. The room and everything were great. We went and did Build a Bear and the lady was so amazing. We went to Dunkin’ Donuts the next morning and was treated so horribly. Our donuts didn’t even have any icing on the due to the staff throwing them in a sack and the icing was all over the bag. I have worked in customer service most of my life until now being a stay at home mom. I couldn’t believe it. I did go talk to management and they did say I wasn’t the first customer she has done this too. Management told me she’s having a hard time right now and I told management that’s no excuse we all have bad days about things go on in our live but should never take it out on other people especially at work. My family wants to go back but I refuse too.
This was a great little get away. It was my girlfriend, myself and our 2 children. The boys had a great time with the pool, magic quest, rock climbing and the games. Fun day trip or two day trip as we did if you’re from the Denver area.
Elevator waits, 8 to 10 minutes, only have one elevator out of the three operable. For a resort that is 65% owned by Blackstone inc you would think that have maintenance up and running a little better.!!Can't even send my daughter with my card to pay for things because they need prior authorization. That card is authorized it is signed and is being able to use by anybody I handed to. Check the Visa and MasterCard agreements.
Our bed frame was broken. The box that the beds lay on was broken on the side so whenever you laid on it you rolled to the side. When informed the staff didn’t seem to care. The room we ordered was very expensive, it came with a couch that unfolded into a bed, and then had two queen beds. And was supposed to have a kitchen area, that area was behind the door and was a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator with no freezer section. It was very disappointing in that it was our last stop on our journey, and my nephew was incredibly excited after seeing the commercials, and looking at the website. And the fact that all the hotels we had stayed were just okay but we only spent 1/5 the cost as this place. So we show up and there is some kind of party/gathering going on and the wait for the elevators was 15mins, they only had 3 that is THREE! Elevators for the entire place. Every morning it was a fight. The only bright side was the stuff around there to do. I would recommend not this Great Wolf, I live near the one in KC and it is so much better. Instead of staying buy a day pass and take your kids.
