But they have a nice assortment of baked goods and are able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Service is friendly and fast. There are lots of little nooks to sneak yourself into and read a book or work on your computer, if you don’t mind a little noise. It is clean and located in a nice area.
Nestled in a revamped exciting area of downtown Colorado Springs, this gem does not disappoint. The coffees are top notch (including the line up of zombie drinks), scratch friendly kitchen foods top notch (those empanadas and aioli sauce) and baked goods it all slaps. Add in the decor and top level that overlooks the main street and restaurant yes please. Then the barista was sooo welcoming and informative. She was cranking out drinks but still did not seem stressed or overwhelmed..she just had the largest smile. I am definitely going back tomorrow.
Waited 45 minutes for a cup of soup of the day to go. I had eventually had to leave and didn't get the soup so I don't know how long after that the soup was ready. It was 1pm
Seems in bad form to call patrons liars. A shot is 1.5 ounces. Ask any bartender. That’s a shot glass, not a rocks glass. And if it’s not, it’s your burden of proof to provide. Instead of doubling down on employees deserving tips, pay them more hourly.
I was downtown and needed a quick breakfast so figured I’d pop in and order a bacon breakfast burrito to go.Took 20+ minutes and it was the breakfast burrito someone who had never actually seen Mexican food would make. When they called my name and handed me a takeout box with a fork and a knife I, instead of a wrapped up burrito in a bag I was confused. Got back to where I was waiting for my kid and opened my box and it was this big flat thing. It was mostly eggs inside, with a few small chunks of potatoes and a little bit of bacon and a lot of almost raw onions and red bell peppers. No salsa. No flavor. Extremely disappointing.
