All day Tuesday they have Taco Tuesday only $2.22. The menu is completely new. The Hog Wild Burrito bowl was excellent with bbq pork. Hand held Burrito with wet sauce is incredible. Huge in size. Waiter Josh said they just had new desserts on the menu, why not me. We had the tres leches that were great and melted in my mouth! We also tried the cheese warps with blows. That could be a meal. When looking over the menu, I notice trying many new dishes. I liked it before, but the owners take it to a new level.
EXCELLENT! My husband is a private cook he was blown away from the amazing food! Absolutely! Visit this place! Tony, the owner Marissa spent our server / the “food getter” time to explain any dish, etc. And there is now a happy hour 3-6PM!! OMG! We cannot give them enough praise for this institution (oh they serve beer, wine and mixed drinks... full bar margaritas, etc) 5 STARS!!
We just had a wonderful dinner in Andale. That was our first visit, but definitely not our last one. It started with a greeting from one of the best hosts “day” I have ever met. This child goes to places!!! He was very attentive and made sure that we had more of the fresh homemade chips and salsa. Our waitress Marissa was also fabulous! We told her it was our first time and asked what she would recommend. She proposed the Mexican sandwich and the Topoco salad. Both dishes were excellent. Tony, the owner, came to see how we did it. It's nice to know that people appreciate your business. No need to go to Mexico City for a delicious dinner in Detroit. You need to try Andale in Commerce Twp. One of the best Mexican restaurants we ate.
My wife and I had lunch in Andale. Compared to the previous restaurant at this point (Fiesta Fajitas), prices and selections were similar. Quality is definitely an improvement. Andale's salsa is much more tasteful. I ordered a nacho and was impressed that even when I got deeper into the nacho, the chips were still crispy. Compared to other Mexican restaurants, the lower chips are often sweated by fat bottom beef. My wife had the fajita burrito. She thought it was appropriate and tasty. She liked the ratio of meat, cheese and vegetables. Our server, Erica, was very friendly and well maintained. She was really worried about our experience.
We’ve been here a few times so far and every time we’ve loved it. The bartenders are friendly and personable, margaritas were perfect and the “hand held” burrito was extremely good. After dinner we were talked into ordering the “tres leches” cake and I’m glad we were. It was also so good. We highly recommend this place.
