Ruby's Diner - Commerce

This charming American diner has a nostalgic atmosphere that really transports you back in time. The service is excellent; the waitstaff are cheerful and attentive. The food is also great—I started with the chicken cake and followed it up with a delicious burger and a milkshake. The burgers are phenomenal, and the milkshakes are outstanding, with an impressive variety to choose from.

After clearing the plates of those who had finished eating, the server asked if we wanted more fries, which we hadn’t noticed were available on the menu. It would have been nice to know earlier, or at least before she started clearing the table. A few minutes later, she brought more fries for the person who still had their plate, but again, we struggled to get her attention when we wanted the check. What made it more frustrating was that the point-of-sale machine was literally next to me, yet I still couldn't catch her eye. Overall, my experience wasn't great, but it could have just been a bad day for the restaurant. Given that the food wasn't remarkable, I might choose a different place next time, but at least we gave it a shot. If you enjoy the diner vibe, the decor is lovely and fun for fans of that style. Ruby never seems to live up to my memories of it. That might say more about me than the restaurant itself, but still. Breakfast was straightforward. Once I got to my sunny side up egg, I started to enjoy it, especially when I dipped my toast into the yolk. It reminded me of a strange taste from my childhood, like when my mother used to wash my mouth out with soap whenever I misbehaved. Unfortunately, getting that soap flavor in my breakfast was not pleasant at all. I mentioned this to the waitress, and she said she would inform the manager. I waited and waited, but it didn’t seem like the manager was concerned at all. So, will I be returning to Ruby anytime soon?

We order for 9 pll and the 2 times she got thr order wrong and a replacement lasted 4 ever, although the top of 55 dollars was taken away no problem. I'll think twice to go back... eat nothing from the usual. But the service must improve 100

We went for mothers day, it was a wonderful experience . The service was friendly, and very fast. We got seated right away and someone came to offer us something to drink. We ordered 4 malts, strawberry banana 8/10- it could've been colder. The food was delicious, well cooked and served with a lot of French fries. We loved this place, from the food to the v aesthetic.
