McDonald's - Comox

We decided to try this location again because we were in the area. Bad choice, the food came fast but was like it had been sitting forever. We ordered Quarter-Pounder with Cheese meals. We normally order no Ketchup because we get a fresh sandwich...but not this time. One Bun was stale and the rest of the ingredients were barely warm. Fries were limp and barely warm. The Drive-through was busy but we were the only customers inside. Some tables were dirty so we had to move around to find a clean spot. The location always appears untidy and in the past has been a disappointment. They were a disappointment again. It will be my last visit here. It has no redeeming qualities other than convenient location.

We had coffee at this restaurant on July The service was quick, staff were friendly Coffee was hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean with clean washrooms. We had a good coffee and a relaxing break from travel.

Very small location, but thats not the issue. The problem is that it's dirty ALWAYS. it's like nobody is ever cleaning the spills, the smell of the too old oil is floating all over. Not to mention the bad customer service that was given to...us by the restaurant manager. My two cents : if you want to eat McDonald's burgers, drive a few more miles and go to another location.

It is very convenient to have a McDonald's in Comox however, there are limited items available due to the small size of the restaurant. For example, no Filet of Fish. Service is a little on the slow side, but quality is good.

I go their sometimes for quick yummy meals and great treats. I enjoy the mcflurrys every time. Great burgers and chicken nuggets.
