Leon de Bruxelles - Compiègne

Eating looked great, but when it came, it wasn't! I had a fish salad that was good but not good for the price. I wouldn't go back, no fan of chains, but that wasn't great, nicer place and personal, but eating left much to be desired.

I had the cheese croquettes and then the moule dijonaise. both were nice, well cooked and delicious. the staff was friendly and attentive, but did not hurry. for me that's perfect they also saw that I was English and automatically gave me a...English version of the menu. the decor is beautiful and with photos of muscheln fishing and Belgian scenes I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the nearby hotels or opposite.

Leon de Bruxelles is a very good chain restaurant. They specialise in mussels presented in about 20 different ways. That said they also have very fresh fish and a few meat dishes. This particular branch is about 50 metres from The Kyriad Hotel and offers...key holders a 10% discount. The place itself is very well presented with lots of photos and artifacts around the walls. It was a quiet night when we went and staff spent a lot of the time cleaning lampshades etc. Staff training is obviously excellent. We received a very friendly welcome. We ate fish and chips, salmon with haricots verts and a carbonnade of beef. All were delicious. Starters were also good. The cost was modest and we would definitely use this restaurant again

Nice mussels and chips... the Indian sauce was very nice with the dish. Friendly staff who could speak English.... a rare find in France...

Stayed one night in the nextdoor Kyriad hotel. Had diner at Leon de Bruxelles. I know this restaurant because we always eat mussels in Bruxelles at the same place. Went for diner at Leon de Bruxelles. Very fast and correct service, even on a crowded...tuesday night. Mussels a la Moulianaire and red wine i dont like white wine) with baquette and french fries and creme brulee as desert. you can choose from 5 diffrent desserts) Good parking and close to the autoroute du Nord. This is worth a detour. Mussels very tasty and no sand. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
