La Bella Italia - Concarneau

This restaurant ideally located with views of the port, the sea, the boats offers very good pizza. the interior has been modernized. I love this place because the view is beautiful and relaxing.

During the visit of concarneau, we fell on this discreet pizzeria for lunch. The service is done upstairs, in a room that also karaoke (in season, I suppose). Pizzas are homemade and rather generous. the price is reasonable, we had for 45 euros to 4 with woods for my 3 children. The welcome is good but, big flat: the ban on smoking is not respected and the smell of smoke rises from the room below where the accusers of the neighborhood come to take a drink. I had to sneak a window to breathe properly. Well, fortunately it was beautiful that day. The place is located in front of the shuttle bus to visit the closed city. ( 1 € go) In this close town there are a multitude of crêperies. You have to see.

Sitting outside this restaurant, overlooking the harbour and the ancient city walls, in the sunshine is one of life's little pleasures! It is just a couple of minutes ferry ride away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap of the town itself and is ideal for calling in before, or after, a trip into the town (there is a handy big car park outside). The staff here are all great fun and really helpful and there is a great atmosphere. The bar inside is in fact a large wooden boat! (There is a restaurant upstairs for when the weather is bad). The pizzas here are good, (being made personally by the Italian owner, Gino), while the rest of the food is average... but you go here for the pleasure of sitting outside in the sun and watching the boats chug in and out of the harbour, and enjoying the banter with the staff !

We had lunch here having crossed the bridge to find some available car parking and decided to try La Bella as we thought it may be more reasonably priced than the tourist traps across the ferry, we were right. We had polite service being escorted up to the restaurant by a very helpful young man. The food was freshly prepared and good, I had a bolognaise and my partner a salad, the deserts were also very good and the coffee excellent. It's obviously popular at lunch time as it filled up very quickly with both business men and families.

We have a super nice party the ultra-friendly boss hosting pizzas are the best I have to eat the not terrible decoration but when we go down it is for pizzas
