My girlfriend and I stopped in after a day trip to Boston because we were jonesing for gelato and this was the only place that showed up on Google maps in the Concord area. We each ordered a medium thinking that they would only fill it to the top of the container but they piled the gelato about two inches over the top! If you don't want that much, let the clerk know beforehand because it was way too much for us! All-in-all a great little shop to get somereally good gelato.
We made the trip after finding the listing, and were looking forward to some good Gelato. After hunting for a parking spot, and walking, we got there to find a sign saying Closed for the season. Wish they 'd have said something about it on their listing here. Rather poor sort of Customer service.
We stopped in here today with some students from a local high school. The lady behind the counter seemed very flustered and was unable to make change causing one of our staff to have to put all purchases except for 2 on her debit card. We also needed to know the actual (or close to it) serving size in ounces as we have an insulin dependent diabetic, and that seemed to be an inconvenience as well. Normally I would leave a tip. Not today. Our students are special needs and she was very impatient as they ordered for themselves. It was very disappointing to say the least. We had originally planned on going to Orange Leaf but saw this place and decided to try it. Next time, we will definitely stick with the original plan.
The gelato simply does not taste good. Some of it appeared freezer burnt when I went as well. However, the burgers at the connected place are great.
Does not offer gelato and has only a very limited selection of ice cream in the winter, but no mention of this on their website. Two very small servings of ice and a milk shake took quite a long time to be served. Maybe this place should just say they're closed in the winter.
