Afton Tavern - Concord

Our server calynn was so wonderful and sweet! The food here is always great and I’m so glad they have a 1/2 cookie skillet now!

We recently dined at Afton Tavern and our experience was exceptional, thanks to our server, Tanner. From the moment we were seated, Tanner's warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly the garlic parm wings are incredible! Tanner’s attention to detail and prompt service ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. He went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. We will definitely be returning and asking for Tanner! Highly recommended!

Our Corgi dog club was in town for the local dog shows and help our banquet there after the show. The food was fabulous and our wait staff was exceptional. Our group will go back again and I will go whenever I an in the area. Great place and atmosphere!

I went for a late lunch last week, around 2pm. The restaurant was almost empty, maybe 5 tables had people at them. I waited a few minutes at the host stand before I was greeted by an older lady that was very sweet, she seated me quickly and then called out to a group of servers standing around chatting that table ? just seated and told me someone would be over. The server that came out and took my drink order, brought it back and said ill give you a minute with the menu and walked off. I came in ready, knowing what I wanted to order, but she was gone before I could tell her that. I sat there another 15 minutes until the lady that originally seated me came by and asked if someone had taken my order I guess because she saw the menus on the corner of the table every time she 'd passed by) and i told her no-she grabbed a nearby server and asked her to take my order. I ordered, food came out in a reasonable amount of time but it was just mediocre. I got the turkey burger and fries-the burger was extremely dry, and didnt really have any flavor, and the fries were stale tasting. I should have known better to come here at 2pm and expect fresh food since they would likely be slow, but I took a chance. They did offer me a free appetizer but i had already waited too long and was late getting back from lunch. i may try it again one day but i 'm not sure

SO cute! Was a great spot for lunch with friends. Staff were so nice and friendly. Food was pretty good too! I heard great things about the cookie skillet so I have to go back!
