Philly Connection

Finally, a REAL CHEESESTEAK. So darn good. it was real. I met JIM the owner whose from Philly. Man, his cheesesteaks are so good. FINALLY, a real real cheesesteak.

Philly was delicious and the fries were scrumptious!

Friendly staff. Clean inside. Food could be seasoned better but it was decent.

I may be old fashioned and set in my ways. 30 years ago these restaurants were everywhere serving up the best cheesesteaks in ATL. Somehow around 2003 the entire franchise went downhill. Today I experienced my last visit to Philly Connection. It is beyond me how a Plain Jane is inedible. Time to let this one go, and that hurts me to say. Once the best but now the worst.

I really enjoyed the cheesesteak. Very tasty! I wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price but it still ranks as one of the top 10 cheesesteak places in Atlanta. The front counter lady was really sweet but maybe the owner was having a bad day. I was really excited to try out this place.
