Randomly Cam Newton walked in, but that's a different story. They have a pretty large selection of ice cream, and I ended up getting the birthday cake (since my birthday is coming up lol) and I wanted to try something besides cookies and cream which I ALWAYS get.Presentation-wise, it was a very well made and designed ice cream. It was heavy on the frosting (which is expected) and had a cake batter flavor with a cupcake attached to it. The cupcake was kinda.. flavorless which was disappointing but overall the entire package was good.Staff was polite but a little aloof. It was a little confusing at first since most ice cream shops start you at the beginning and you pay at the end. Maybe it was a timing thing but when we walked in it seemed like they were busy doing their own thing so when we walked to the terminal to ask where to start we got sent back to the entrance (the beginning of the line). If anything, only a mild hiccup.Again, it's pretty good and I'd come back to try something different, maybe my tried and true cookies and cream!
Since I was out, I decided to try this place. You will have to pay to park. (If it's free, I didn't see it. It is best to go when you have something to do downtown. I like the design of the ice cream, and I didn't see any other food items on the list. I ordered a blast oreo. What I did like, I was able to take my glass cup with me.
Very pricey (about $17 for the fancy milkshake) but absolutely worth it!! Great speedy service with super friendly staff. They explain everything for first time customers and have you in and out within minutes. Best milkshakes we've had!
Wow! The ice cream artistry that is spun at the hands of the frozen cream masters is unreal! Go easy unless you have a penchant for sweetness and by Lord please avoid if you are lactose intolerant or on the diabetic spectrum. The creamery is cute and quaint and service was very friendly. On the other hand the area in which you find this treatery is a little sketchy. Never felt unsafe, but not where I would have opened an ice cream shop.
The milkshakes were really good, and you get a lot for the price. My son got the cookie monster milkshake and my daughter got a peanut butter milkshake. I asked where we were supposed to put the glass jar that came with it and they told me I could clean it out and take it with me. That was a nice bonus
