Lakes Hot Spot - Coniston

I was very hungry when I arrived at Ravneous in Coniston. I checked the app and saw that we were just in time. The tofu burger was delicious, and the oat milk coffee was fantastic. It was a lovely place to visit.

Although the only vegan option on the menu was a tofu roasted sandwich, my wife and I both decided to order it for lunch. I must say, it was hands down the best tofu sandwich I have had in my 26 years as a vegan. The sandwich was filled with plenty of tofu, marinated and coated in sesame seeds, along with a mix of grilled vegetables such as eggplant, peppers, zucchinis, and mushrooms, all atop a sesame bun. It was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, there were no vegan desserts available to pair with our coffee, but after speaking with the owner, it seems they are looking to expand their vegan offerings. Overall, worth a visit if you're in the area, but be sure to encourage them to add more vegan options to their menu.

There isn't a wide selection, but there are more options than most places in Coniston. The food was enjoyable, but they don't have a lot of vegan meal options. It's a good place to eat if you're in a pinch, but it's not worth going out of your way for.

We were in coniston 3 nights in the first night we made the mistake to think we could just turn up and order a pizza at 7:30 o'clock they were completely booked for the rest of the night. So the next day we called a job to pick up and were not disappointed. I would say one of the best pizzas I've ever had is chili marmelade an inspiring choice. Not only that, but a great service and the 2 youngs who work there were a good laugh. can't fail

Fabulous hotel. beautiful environment, shave right at the lake. excellent eating with a great selection to breakfast. large room. (access bedroom) very comfortable bed, sleep like a log. rest. staff very helpful and friendly. I'm sure they'll stay here.
