Sparky's Place - Conneaut

The service was extremely slow during our visit. The food was just mediocre. We went on a Monday and ordered burgers—nothing extravagant. The fries we received were ice-cold, and we had to return them for fresh ones. The burger was decent at best. I don't see why I should speak to the owner; I've read numerous reviews highlighting the poor service, yet nothing has changed except for attempts to justify the slowness. If the staff shortage is an issue, then hiring additional help is essential. It’s disappointing to see the owner take such a condescending approach towards a regular customer who has spent money at their establishment. We definitely will not be returning, and I’ll make sure to share our experience with others in the future.

While driving to Niagara Falls, we decided to take a break from the freeway and visit Sparky’s after checking out the reviews. We were not disappointed! The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the fries and onion rings were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the chipotle dip for the onion rings. I highly recommend making a detour off the highway to try Sparky’s!

This is a nice restaurant with good prices, but I was disappointed with the taste of my fish—it lacked flavor and could really use some more seasonings. On the bright side, the portion size was quite generous!

Stopped in while out viewing covered bridges in the county. We were hungry so didn’t take pics of the food but it was all delicious. They have a HUGE beer selection of which hubs tried 2. I had a frozen lemon cream pie cocktail which was really good. Talked to the owner Sparky and he was very knowledgeable and helpful about the area. A really fun quirky place with Christmas Story memorabilia that I enjoyed

Worst experience i have had in a while. Waited 10 minutes to get seated. Lots of tables, just no one able to seat us.(3 groups of people) Got seated ordered our food. Appetizer came out very quickly...then the waiting started. Waited over 45 minutes for 2 burgers. A woman came out and said they were plating our food, waited 5 more minutes then I had had enough and walked out.(left to cover app. And drinks) Never again, used to be one of my favorite places. Had a super long wait once before for food. Not again, sorry. Had an appitizer for dinner I guess.
