Casa Ole - Conroe

Earlier yesterday, I learned that three family members would be joining us for dinner at home. I hurried to Casa Ole to pick up some green sauce, but I also inquired with the hostess about family dinner options. She was incredibly kind and assisted me swiftly— we decided on the Enchilada platter, which came with sauces, rice, and beans. I returned about half an hour later than I had initially mentioned, but the food was fresh, hot, and well-packaged. The hostess informed me that there were 12 enchiladas in four different flavors, and I chose four of them. To my surprise, she also included a children's chicken nugget meal! The food was delicious and received very well by my family.

Our server was very nice and wanted to help us with seating. I'm in a wheelchair and didn't have a problem getting in or out at the table. Our waitress was great to help with everything we needed.

Nice place to stop when you are already in the area. My husband and I like to come occasionally after shopping in nearby Sam's or Lowe's. I had no high hopes for the $2,50 house margarita, but they are really not bad! Their other drinks are also delicious, and so is everything we have tried so far!

The restaurant had a warm atmosphere and there was a noticeable smoky smell from the fajitas. Our server was friendly and attentive, and both the drinks and food were enjoyable. However, it was a little off-putting to overhear the busser complain multiple times that clearing tables was not part of her job description.

I typically expect salsa to be chunky, but in this case, it was just a thin red liquid. I ordered the taco salad, which was decent, but the side of cheese provided was only about an ounce for such a large salad. I ended up having to order a large side of cheese, which, of course, cost an extra $5. On a positive note, the service was absolutely fantastic.
