Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Flown to the cracker barrel and never come back again. first it took 30 minutes to get our seats that I can understand because it is full, but it also took forever to get a waitress. then they don't have a laugh or fried chicken and when my family member said they didn't want anything that the waitress was rude and her eyes rolled. it took forever to get our food like an hour, and when we got it, it was all cold, even the chicken and dumplings. at this point we have paid and gone for our drinks.

The service at this restaurant is extremely poor. Nobody ever answers the phone, even after trying for more than 20 minutes. I even tried to let them know I was waiting outside, but still couldn't get through. This is a consistent issue every time we try to dine here. Customer service at any Conroe restaurant is the complete opposite of what we experienced here.

Despite the reasonable wait time, this restaurant is an excellent choice for a classic family meal. We frequently order our holiday dinners here, and the meals are always accurate, timely, and delicious. The kitchen staff does a great job preparing sides like mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole (which is delicious), baby carrots, and the hearty, perfectly-warmed breads. The cookies and cornbread are also worth mentioning. The service is friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience that the whole family can enjoy. We were very pleased with our Easter dinner order from this restaurant!

The food was excellent, but the standout was our waiter. We were fortunate to have the best waitress, Sable, who was both beautiful and personable. She provided exceptional service and added a wonderful touch to our dinner. We will definitely be returning for her!

Great atmosphere!! Luke the manager was very helpful! However the server we had wasn't very friendly didn't come to check on us very often. Had to ask another server for a refill which they didn't bring. Had to find management to even get a refill. I believe I'll give them another try only because of Luke!!
