The Cosy Byre - Consett

The restaurant is completely gluten-free, which was great for my daughter since she had plenty of options. However, since I am not celiac, it didn’t cater to my preferences. I might come back for some cakes for her, but I would probably just stick to having a drink.

This is a lovely café with very affordable prices and delicious food. The soup was fantastic, and the rice crispy cake was amazing! They also serve a Sunday roast twice a month, so be sure to check their Facebook page for details on reservations!
