The Derwent Walk - Consett

This is my second review of this restaurant and I do not like it at all! I insulted a waiter by calling them fat, which made them angry and they spat in my food. I had already placed my order.

Today I had a Sunday roast at this restaurant. The starter included in the offer was soup, whether you wanted it or not. The soup was mediocre.

My experience at the restaurant on a Friday in June for lunch was pleasant. The bar was unoccupied and there was only one other couple present when we arrived. We received a warm welcome and the service was attentive.
