Unfortunately, our experience tonight (Saturday, 1/7/23 was less than stellar and hugely disappointing. There were so many things…. 1. We were celebrating a milestone birthday, which was mentioned to us at check-in but never again acknowledged or recognized. 2. Though we had a reservation, they attempted to sit us at a high top table in the bar area (though we were moved to the main dining area upon request. 3. We ordered a filet and veal as our entrees. The veal was tough rather than tender, and the filet wasn’t a filet, it was a (badly masked and non-edible cut of sirloin! 4. Our waitress seemed eager for us to leave, which I’m assuming was because she wanted to turn over the table. She brought us our check without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee, and seemed annoyed when we asked what desserts were available. 5. The tiramisu we shared was the only bright spot in the meal, however, the coffee we ordered to accompany it didn’t arrive until 20 minutes after the tiramisu (at which point, we had already eaten it. Perhaps this restaurant is good for casual dining or bar-type appetizers, but I would not recommend it for a special night out. For what we paid, we could have had excellent food and great service at one of the many high end restaurants in the area.
Great lunch fare, served by the attentive and lively Tyrone!
Our first time at Daniel’s was on New Year’s Eve and we had a great experience. Our server Vanessa was wonderful friendly, attentive and helpful with food and wine recommendations. The restaurant and was warm and cozy on a rainy night, and our dining room had beautiful pressed tin ceilings, a fireplace , and exposed brick walls. We shared the calamari starter which was crispy, tender and tasty. Our entrees were the branzino which was delicious and the filet which was also delicious , cooked perfectly and tender. The tiramisu was yummy! Drinks were good a French 75, a nice Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. A great place for a special occasion or just an everyday dinner.
Absolutely love this place! Sirloin steak and crab cakes were delicious. Our waitress Vanessa was wonderful. The singer was also great. He played Beatle songs! Cannot wait to return. Great spot for New Year's Eve.
Exceptionally friendly service! Great atmosphere and food. Exactly what we wanted for our night out.
