Casa Romaneasca - Constanţa

Unfortunately nothing special here. Really nothing and this is my first out of review ever. I do not recommend this place.

We went for dinner, people in total. The food was average at best, while the service was just poor. We ordered a traditional plate as appetizers, some grilled cheese and main course for everybody. After a very long wait, the waiter brought everything at...the same time. Appetizers, main dishes, salads, everything. I actually had like plates in front of me and they were struggling to make room for more. As a result, we ate the second course first, to not get cold and after that couldn’t eat much of the appetizers. I ordered smoked pork knuckle with beans, they actually brought some slice of meat with beans, totally meh. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody.

I just read some reviews and I’m surprised with so bad reviews, I think I’m a fair person, and I avoid to do complains, but I also like to give compliments when the places deserve, and the fact is we have a nice last supper...at Mamaia in this restaurant. The owner was friendly and the young girl who did the service was one of his granddaughters and was very fast, and lovely. Nice food, nice service.

After the waiter saw we have a child , the table was no longer available. No room for baby troller !

Service was quite ok, fast service, good food, the only bad experience that I had is that I told the waiter that I would like to pay with credit card and when he arrive with the check he said that they mistake the receipe and...that I have to pay by cash. Thanks God I had cash on me.
