Posada De Los Consules - Consuegra

This restaurant has a fixed menu with several options for meat, poultry or fish. There are no vegetarian options, though. Not one in the whole menu. The menu is 15 euros and includes some olives, a starter, a main dish, bread, dessert and a drink, for which you get a whole bottle and not just a glass. The portions are large and the food feels very homemade and is very yummy. The ambience is modest, lots of wood and a rustic decoration. I wouldn't mind not having a TV in there, though. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend it.

Very nice inn with lovely hosts. Stayed on a room only basis. Small local Spanish bar on nearby corner serves pulgars (sm crusty rolls the size of hotdogs with a large choice of fillings at 2.50 euros per pulgar. Coffees fine

Muy buen lugar para comer, con precios razonables y baratos

Habitaciones con poca iluminación, ropa de cama y toallas muy sucias... mucho suavizante para enmascarar olores, pero poco jabón. Literalmente he salido a la mañana siguiente corriendo....solo me aloje una noche y salí llena de picaduras. Como alojamiento es un lugar pintoresco, pero la limpieza es escasa.

Experiencia agridulce, la luz de la habitación no era muy fuerte aún así no nos impidió ver restos de pelo en sábanas, sin olvidar un desagradable olor procedente del baño que parecía de los desagües, también faltaba un jaboncito de manos para el lavabo. Por lo demás bien, buena atención del señor de recepción .
