Mike's Place - Conway

We sat I the bar with Kenneth as our waiter. We had the best expense to date!! Kenneth was knowledgeable, quick to recommend a dish, and is absolutely the most fun and charismatic waiter I have ever had. We will be back Just to see Kenneth... oh n the coconut shrimp.

We went to Mike's Place to meet my new daughter in law parents. It was the perfect place for our meeting. The staff was so friendly. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Even though it was somewhat busy, it was still quiet enough to carry on a conversation, and be able to communicate with our new extended family.The food was excellent. The service we received was professional, courteous and timely. It was the perfect meeting place for dinner with the parents of our new daughter in law. We will be dining at Mike's place again and I highly recommend Mike's Place to all my family and friends.

For the price , the food should've been much better. The menu, atmosphere, and fantastic wait staff set the precedence for the restaurant, but the food is just ok. I ordered the salmon and it could've been more tender and flavorful (the sauce helped a little). We ordered grilled chicken for my son, and he would not eat it. Normally he devours any form of chicken. So I tried some, and it was so bland and chewy, it literally felt like I was chewing chicken flavored gum. Needless to say, it did not get eaten or boxed up. The only saving grace was some tasty dessert. My wife ordered the bread pudding, but unfortunately they never brought it out. The white chocolate creme brulee was a tad oily, but the flavor was great. I highly recommend the peanut butter cheesecake if they offer it (it was the weekly dessert special).Parking: Public parking was available in front of the restaurant. I could see how it would be difficult to find parking during peak hours.Kid-friendliness: They were offered crayons and an awesome restaurant designed coloring page. The wait staff also including the kids in the conversation.

Petfect setting for a business lunch. Food was fine. Service was great. Appreciate the 2 hour free parking on the street.
