Mon Cafe Japan - Conway

Today was one of the worst experiences ever at Mon Cafe. To start with, it was a takeout order. They were to have it ready in 20 minutes. When we arrived it was not ready because they forgot about it. There were no condiments out. The music they had playing was blaring and not family oriented. The only saving grace is the food was good but we won’t be going back unless they change it back to the original restaurant. Very disappointed in mom cafe.

Ine mad at it. It's a good baseline hibachi express. I'd go again if I'm in the immediate area. Not driving 10+ minutes for it tho. I got a chicken bowl. Decent taste. Not really a strong flavor or taste of seasoning, but still enjoyable. 3 outta 5.

I ordered a beef bowl. It was shredded steak'um with out any seasoning cooked to death. There wasn't enough meat and it cost me$10. It also was loaded with mushrooms when it should have been just a regular bowl. I didn't call the restaurant because I'm sure I'm not the only one who complained about this disaster, that shouldn't even be on the menu. That was my last$1 spent here. I've been a customer for years but never again. I live 25 minutes away to be this disappointed.

Place is going downhill. We used to love it but ever since Covid the food quality has gone down, the portions have changed, business hours are all different, and the best part, everything went way up in price. At least with other places going up, their food stays the same and in some cases better meat quality. Got my $11 chicken bowl today, and was definitely not impressed. Almost a rip off.
