I have visited this place numerous times over the years as the family has been operating it, often with my wild kids (and later, wild grandkids). The family who run this business have always warmly welcomed us. We visit Snowdonia frequently as we live on the Wirral, and we consistently receive excellent food and service at reasonable prices for the area. The woman who appears to be in charge only seems to be short with those who lack a sense of humor. I couldn't explore North Wales without stopping by here. The pizzas, cooked in a wood-fired oven, are absolutely amazing. It's a great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and the owner's family is friendly and down-to-earth. It's my preferred cafe when camping at Dolgam, and I highly recommend everyone to visit and see for themselves. You won't be disappointed. Five stars all day long. xx
The restaurant offers a warm welcome and generous portions of breakfast that are sure to fuel you for the day. The food and service are exceptional.
The welcome was delightful with the owners even moving from where they were to give us a table of the correct size to fit in six of us. We had a look at the menu and a nice chat with the landlady. We then ordered drinks which we received immediately, and soon after ordered three pizzas between four of us, the perfect amount, they were the best home-made pizzas I 've ever had, cooked outside in a proper oven. Everyone with us loved it and would 100% go back again, especially for 'the laughs '.
We saw the Pizza Oven sign, and we were tempted in by that . I wish we had driven on . Apart from no Pizzas , the food that we had was disgusting greasy and lukewarm egg and chips , a piece of fish that tasted more like plastic .. expensive plastic . Surly 'service ' , sticky tables , disgusting toilet . Don 't bother ..
Popped in just after walking up siabod. Absolutely craving a nice sugary drink but unfortunately had no change on us. We asked the lady with short blond hair if we could pay on card to which her blunt response was 'depends if it 's a reasonable amount ' my partner and I were taken back a bit but the bluntness so we then asked what a reasonably amount may be. £10 was again rudely abruptly told to us. We were not going to be spending £10 when all we wanted were two cans of fizzy. We then asked if we may use the toilet as the sign on the door says 'no purchase, no pee ' Thankfully the lady said yes and pointed at the door. We left and said thank you but for sure will not be popping in here for anything again. We 'll stick to our usual spots in this area. I felt that the customer service for my 5min visit was awful. I know it 's coming to quiet season but a smile and a full answer makes the world of difference!
