Beware bouncers are very aggressive and can be arrogant asked to remove it which I did then bouncer said to bar man not to served me and asked me to leave even tho there was people in there with hats on!!! as leaving turned round and said I hate scousers to myself
We stayed on the site on half term week and was suprised by th quality of the food , the pizza i had was better than a large well known outlet and the burger was really nice not full of inedible bits just really meaty , the lady cooking was friendly and welcoming just like the bar staff i met , wouldnt hesitate to visit again
I believe that the portion sizes for chips have decreased since last year, but the sausages, fish, and pies were decent. The mushy peas were lacking in flavor, however, the gravy was delicious and thick. The restaurant is no longer the best in the area when considering the cost and portion size, as it is not as affordable or generous as it used to be.
This restaurant has become our favorite place to go in Towyn. We have a caravan at Miller's next door. The club is great for kids, with a kids' disco and arcade, as well as a wacky warehouse and outdoor play area nearby. Unfortunately, you can't see the kids in the arcade/wacky warehouse from the club, which is a shame. They also do bingo with jackpots of £200 for a full house and £100 for a line on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30pm. The entertainment is well organized and the bar staff are professional. Prices are reasonable for the area. This is a great place to go with kids and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Ty Mawr, Golden Gate, Whitehouse, Millers, Owens Edwards, Gainc View, Cambria Henllys, Stones, Sunny Bay Abbeyford. These places are all within walking distance, depending on where you are coming from. It may be quicker to walk through the entrance to Golden Gate next to Miller's Cottage and follow the signs. The chippy next door is also really good. I highly recommend the chicken curry with half rice and half chips, it's the best I've tasted. They also have a mini market with reasonable prices, like 8 cans of Fosters for £8.
